The Ranch Course and the Legends Course. The Ranch Course Course plays 7,200 yards and it has been rated one of the top courses in Northern California by "Golf Today." It plays long and difficult so accuracy is the name of the game. Designed by Jack Nicklaus and Gene Sarazen, The Legends Course has a heritage as distinguished as the game itself. It plays 7112 yards and rewards well planned shots. Both courses are dominated by dramatic vistas, rolling hillsides, vineyards and canyons carved by time and Mother Nature. The resort also features fine foods, The Diablo Grande Vineyard, an expansive clubhouse, pro shop and driving range. The course runs 6,718 yards from the gold tees and features four set of tees for all levels. It plays to a par 72

and showcases the best greens in the area. Trees guard the wide and forgiving fairways and bunkers protect the essential landing areas. Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course (Photo 7)
8301 Freeport Blvd.
Sacramento, CA.

Bartley Cavanaugh is located just a short distance from Interstate 5 where you will see an ocean of green, accentuated by a stately white clubhouse. Designed by Perry Dye, the course is an artistic creation that brings the old world of golf to the Delta. The course plays 6,159 yards from the tips and is an example of pure imagination in design. Guarded by numerous trees, water and mounds the fairways of Bermuda grass give a feeling of links golf. Fourteen bunkers await an errant shot on seven of the holes presenting an ever-present danger. The greens are small and undulating but don't let that fool you. They require a master putting stroke to negotiate. The Delta winds must be taken into consideration because errant shots can be accentuated. The clubhouse, which dominates the scenery, boasts of a pro shop, which is a golfer's dream. The B.C, Cafe is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is very proud of the patio overlooking the course. What a wonderful setting for your business meeting, retirement or wedding reception!
