Many of us here in the Central Valley know about the framing treasure, “The Galeria”. The Galeria has been gracing our presence since 1982. They have created pieces for celebrities such as Jack Nicholas and Joe Montana to major businesses, St. Joseph, and Kaiser Hospitals just to name a few. The Tofoya’s have made their store a success and even created a prodigy out of their son George.

George has been training under his Father Tino for ten years and has nothing but great things to say about the framing industry. When I asked George what he enjoyed best about framing his reply was simple; “Creating unique pieces and overcoming challenges of framing unique objects. Things like a rock from the moon, old coins, jerseys, or a cast of a pregnant woman’s stomach.” George has now chosen to spread his wings and leave the safety of the Galeria and begin his own business.

With the help of his family, George will be opening an affiliate store in Manteca named “Frugal Frames”. Doors open for the new store in early November and will be open seven days a week, closed on holidays. You can find “Frugal Frames” at 1239 Louise Ave on the corner of Louise and Cottage in the brand new strip mall. If you are not sure if they will have what you need, check out their web site first at www.frugalframes.com or call (209) 824-7454.

Frugal Frames is a place where anyone can come in and find something beautiful. The store features ready-made and custom frames made of woods and metals such as; Larson, Julh & Universal, Michael Faye Collection, and North American. The ready-made frame sizes range from 5 by 7 to 30 by 40. In case your artwork doesn’t quite fit the ready-made framing “Frugal Frames” can custom fit it for you. Finding the right frame is only the beginning to creating a masterpiece, the finishing touch is in the mating and glass.

With most framing stores you expect a job to take a few days. This isn’t the case with “Frugal Frames”. They are offering same day service when you buy any ready-made frame. Frugal Frames is proud to feature The Wizard. This will be the only store in the Central Valley to offer The Wizard. It is a computerized machine that can create any design you want in a fraction of the time it takes to do it by hand.

Aside from offering a variety of frames and endless matting designs “Frugal Frames” will also have artwork for you to buy ranging from posters, lithographs, canvas stretching, and catalogs with thousands of artwork to browse through. Frugal Frames doesn’t like to limit themselves on artwork so they offer many different artists. If you’re not sure what’s missing from your home or office this new store will come to you for a free consultation. This stores motto is “low prices, fast service, and custom framing”.

George and his friendly staff look forward to serving you at their new location.
